MINERAL INGREDIENTS
We use only pure and natural raw materials in our mineral makeup, made from finely milled minerals. These delicate powders support the skin while camouflaging, evening out, and enhancing your sensitive complexion.
The following mineral ingredients are used in the formulation of Creative Cosmetics makeup:
MICA
Mica is a collective term for a group of minerals known for their shimmering and light-reflecting properties. These minerals are often ground into a fine powder and added to cosmetics to create a shiny, glittering, or pearlescent effect. Depending on particle size and coating, mica can provide a subtle glow or a more pronounced sparkle. It contributes to a fresh and refined appearance of the skin.
IRON OXIDE
Iron oxides are natural minerals commonly used as color pigments in cosmetics. They come in various shades such as yellow, red, orange, brown, and black. These pigments create the desired color in mineral makeup products. They are intense and help makeup last longer.
In addition to their coloring properties, iron oxides offer extra benefits. They help protect the skin against visible and blue light, which may help reduce hyperpigmentation and other skin concerns. They also contribute to broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and block HEV (blue visible light).
ZINC OXIDE
Zinc oxide is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It helps reduce irritation and has a calming and soothing effect, making it ideal for problem-prone and sensitive skin. It is also a natural UV filter, protects the skin against aging, and is water-resistant.
BORON NITRIDE
Boron Nitride is known as “the diamond” among minerals. Thanks to its inclusion in our unique formula, you experience a silky-smooth, soft feel after applying our mineral makeup. Boron Nitride has excellent adhesion properties, helping makeup stay in place for longer — so your Creative Cosmetics look lasts throughout the day. It does not clog pores and does not irritate the skin, making it very suitable for sensitive skin.
SILICA
Silica is one of the most abundant minerals in the earth’s crust. This natural ingredient is highly popular and widely used in medicines and vitamins. By enriching our mineral makeup with Hydrated Silica, we enhance the quality of the products. Silica absorbs excess oil and sweat, helping makeup last longer. It also improves adhesion to the skin and allows smoother product application.
KAOLIN CLAY
Kaolin, also known as white clay, is a fine mineral frequently used in cosmetic products, including mineral makeup. This natural clay is known for its gentle and skin-friendly properties, making it highly suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin. It absorbs excess oil and sweat, improves adhesion and coverage, and gently cleanses and exfoliates without irritation — contributing to a healthy-looking complexion.
