PRIVACY STATEMENT CREATIVE COSMETICS

Besides wanting you to be satisfied with our products, we also place high priority on protecting your privacy. This means we want your data to be safe with us. Below we explain how we do that.

Data when placing orders

If you order products from us, we store your data in our system in order to process your order carefully.

For this, we need your name, address and place of residence, a billing address and (if different) a shipping address, your payment details, telephone number, and email address.

Under privacy law, we are permitted to use this data because we enter into an agreement with you: you place an order with Creative Cosmetics and we deliver to you.

We store your data for 7 years.

If you are younger than 16

If you are under 16, you may only provide personal data to us if one of your parents or a legal guardian has read this privacy policy and gives us permission on your behalf. We therefore ask you not to provide any data if you have not yet received this permission.

Reviews via WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so we can link your review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website.

In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to ask for clarification of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely to invite you to leave a review.

WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties to provide its services, for which we have given permission. All safeguards mentioned above relating to the protection of your personal data also apply to any parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.

Statistics

We place cookies and keep statistics on the use of our website. We use these statistics to improve our webshop and advertising campaigns and to show you information tailored to you. We do not combine your site visit with your personal data.

Information via Instagram

You can ask us questions and submit requests via Instagram.

We process your chat messages in order to provide proper service. This is permitted by law. We store this information for 12 months. This allows us to easily retrieve your details in case of follow-up questions and to train our customer service team to serve you even better.

Use of our AI chatbot

On our website we use a digital customer service assistant (AI chatbot). This chatbot helps you with questions about our products, orders, and services. When you use the chatbot, it only processes the data you enter yourself, such as your question, any order details, or your name if you choose to provide it.

We ask you not to share sensitive data (such as medical information, financial data, or your citizen service number/BSN) via the chat. Conversations are used solely to improve customer service and to answer your question. Data processed via the chatbot is stored for a maximum of 60 days, unless your question becomes part of an ongoing customer service case (for example a complaint or return).

The technical processing of the chatbot is handled by an external service provider. This party processes data solely on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. If data is processed outside the EU, appropriate safeguards are in place in the form of European Commission–approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). The chatbot does not make decisions that have legal effects for you; it is purely a tool to help answer your questions more quickly.

Creative Cosmetics points and your account

For example, when placing orders, you must first register. You then provide information about yourself and choose a username. With this we create an account, which you can log into with your username and a password of your choice.

For this, we store your IP address, telephone number, billing address, name and address details, email address, and your payment details. This is permitted under privacy law. We store your information until you close your account.

During registration we use secure connections (SSL), which ensure that all information between you and our website is encrypted.

We store this information so you don’t have to re-enter it each time and so that we can contact you more easily if needed in relation to the webshop. You can change your details whenever you wish via your account.

Right of access

You always have the right to view the data that we (have) process(ed) and that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.

If your request is granted, we will send a copy of all data we have about you to your known email address, including an overview of the processors that have access to this data, specifying the category under which we have stored this data.

Right to rectification

You always have the right to have data that we (have) process(ed) and that relates to you or can be traced back to you corrected. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response within 30 days.

If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your known email address stating that the data has been adjusted.

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to restrict the processing of data that we (have) process(ed) and that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response within 30 days.

If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation to your known email address stating that your data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to data portability

You always have the right to have data that we (have) process(ed) and that relates to you or can be traced back to you, transferred to another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response within 30 days.

If your request is granted, we will send digital copies or exports of all data we have processed about you, or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to your known email address.

In such a case, it is likely that we will no longer be able to continue providing our services, as a secure link between data systems can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights

You have the right, in applicable cases, to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Creative Cosmetics. If you object, we will immediately stop processing your data while your objection is being assessed.

If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies and/or exports of the data that we (have) process(ed) and then permanently stop the processing.

You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that would fall under this right. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.

Who has access to your data and how?

Only the Creative Cosmetics customer service team has access to your data. They are all aware of your privacy rights. Access is strictly secured through personal passwords. Your data is stored in a protected system.

Which of my data is shared with third parties?

To provide proper service, we share your address details, for example, with a delivery service.

If I apply for a job, what do you do with my data?

We collect personal data such as your name and address, CV, and email address because you provide this information yourself. Under privacy law we are allowed to process this data to select and hire the right candidate for one of our vacancies.

Only the director and HR manager have access to this data. Your data is stored in a well-secured database.

We do not store your personal data for longer than necessary for the application process.

In practice, this means:

  • If you are hired, we store your application in your personnel file.

  • If you are not hired, we would like to keep your data for six months in case a similar vacancy arises and we wish to contact you again, unless you do not consent.

After these periods, or if you withdraw your consent earlier, we delete all your data.

How can I view information about myself?

You can view, correct, object to, and—where permitted—have your data deleted at any time by contacting Creative Cosmetics. To do so, you must submit a written request to Creative Cosmetics specifying your request. We will ask you to identify yourself.

It is only possible to request information about your own data, not about that of others. We safeguard the privacy of all customers in the same way.
